Inspiration to Finish Your Christmas Pages!

Showcase your layouts about "Getting ready for Christmas …"
After Thanksgiving many families begin thinking about and planning for Christmas. Holiday music is in the air ~ kids are making out their wish list for Santa … Yes indeed, Christmas is in the air!!

How do you and your family kickoff the Christmas season? Is it by baking and decorating Christmas cookies? Or perhaps you start the season by writing out your Christmas cards. Is putting up and decorating the tree something your entire family takes part in? No matter what you and your family do to get ready for Christmas, don't forget to grab the camera and snap some photos. Photos of the kids helping roll out the cookie dough … photos of the piles of Christmas cards you've signed … or photos of the youngest member of your family putting the Christmas star on top of the tree. As the years march on, the way you and your family kickoff the holiday season may change, but by capturing the moments in a scrapbook layout, you'll be able to look back with fondness at the memories you've made. Don't forget to date your scrapbook page(s) - as has been done in this layout. The journaling tells the story as does the unique and clever photo. Not only is the layout a true family treasure, the story it tells is too!

Holiday traditions… Do you and your family celebrate the holidays by doing the same thing year after year? Perhaps you celebrate the holidays by getting together for a family meal ~ or by gathering around the piano to sing Christmas carols. There is no rule about what constitutes a tradition - according to the definition, it is something handed down from generation to generation - it can be a belief, a custom, information or a behavior.

Whatever the tradition is you and your loved ones celebrate, be sure to capture the moments and memories in a scrapbook layout. Future generations will appreciate being able to see if the traditions have changed - or if they have stayed the same.

This layout focuses on the tradition of collecting Christmas ornaments throughout the year from vacation spots - a unique and wonderful way to not only decorate the Christmas tree, but to recall special vacation moments.

This layout also involves travel throughout the year for something special to display at Christmas time.

The focus of this layout is putting the star on the Christmas tree. The layout and journaling will no doubt be treasured as the boys grow up.

Ripping through the paper …
WOW! Christmas is finally here! Santa has arrived! The kids are up and about at the crack of dawn! Wipe the sleep out of your eyes, grab your camera and capture the precious moments!! Capturing the joyous smiles of loved ones on Christmas day is a great way to save precious memories for years to come.

Here the 2 page LO combines candid shots and those that loved ones have posed for - and it makes for a fun and heartwarming page. Friends and family will love looking back through the memories you have scrapbooked through the years.
